Today, we're interviewing Rosie, a model at Pierced Owl! Last Spring, Rosie was one of the first people to have modeled with us. She has a super cute septum ring, eyebrow piercing, and belly button piercing that you've probably seen on our website and insta. Let's get to know her!
First off, can you introduce yourself?
Of course! I'm Rosie and I'm a senior in high school this year. I came across Pierced Owl last year when my sister started working for the company. Since then, I've loooved checking out the jewelry and staying up to date on what's new on insta and tiktok. Before last year, I didn't really know the cute options for body jewelry or that I could change my jewelry as often as I could. Now, every week I'm changing my belly ring to match my vibe.
When did you get your first piercing?
I got my first real piercing the summer after my freshman year, so I was about 15 years old. It was my septum piercing! I got my first lobe piercing when I was 2.
What is your favorite piercing?
My favorite piercing is my eyebrow piercing. I think it is my most unique piercing and I feel like I can be really creative with how I style it.
Which of your piercings hurt the most? The least?
My most painful piercing was probably my septum piercing. Although most people say it didn’t cause them any pain. I found it the most painful. My bellow button was the least painful.
Do you have advice for someone who is considering a new piercing?
I would just urge them to really stay diligent with cleaning their piercings and to go to a professional piercer. Professional piercers help prevent any infections and offer high quality piercings.
Do you have any pre or post piercing rituals?
I often tell all my friends and family when I’m going to get a new piercing. Literally everyone has to know about it.
Do you have any tips around getting pierced, changing, or caring for your piercings?
I would recommend cleaning the jewelry thoroughly before putting it back in the piercing hole.

I loveeeed the cross belly button ring.

What are you currently passionate about?
I am really passionate about track! I loveee to run in my free time and with my school team! I also love to cook food with my older sister. And I loveee thrift shopping!
What’s the weirdest thing you carry in your purse/bag/wallet?
I always carry a claw clip with me! It’s so perfect if I need to pull my hair back but don’t want to mess up my curls.

What’s a guilty pleasure of yours?
I love watching asmr lol! It’s so fun and soothing.
What is something you would change about the country you live in?
I would love to have free college! I’m stressed about tuition.
Best and/or worst thing in pop culture right now or ever?
I hate how people hate on feet. Feet are weird but it’s just annoying to hear about it constantly.
What’s something unique about you or what is a unique experience you’ve had?
Meeting Adam Sandler and going on a boat in Niagara Falls with him and his family!
